We can only hope, going forward from increasingly alarming climate change horrors of the past few years, that the Biden-Harris administration will make climate change a top policy concern after COVID19. The appointment of John Kerry as The Special Presidential Envoy for Climate certainly suggests this intention.
And, just in time, since this past August saw the US facing unprecedented climate emergencies, struggling to tackle the biggest wildfire in modern history. And for climate at the world at large, for the first time on record, the Arctic sea ice did not start to freeze at the end of October
